Prof. Dr. Milind Navalakhe
Prof. Dr. Milind Navalakhe graduated from T. N. Medical College, University of Bombay in 1992. Dr. Milind did his post graduation in ENT from Seth G. S. Medical College and K. E. M. Hospital, University of Bombay in 1996, under the esteemed guidance of Dr. M. V. Kirtane. After post-graduation in ENT he joined the same institutions as a Lecturer, where he continued to work for 11 years. He has various articles to his credit in national and international medical journals. He has worked extensively on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, as Endoscopy in ENT has been his passion. His interest in Endoscopy motivated him to enter into Salivary gland endoscopy, Sialendoscopy, a relatively new subspecialty in ENT. He had his training in Sialendoscopy at University of Erlangen, Germany. He has been invited for Lectures and Sialendoscopy live surgery workshops in India and abroad.
He also has special interest in ear microsurgery, Cochlear Implants and BAHA. He has conducted awareness programmes for parents of hearing impaired children in deaf schools in different places in Maharashtra. He has been faculty at many workshops and conferences, scientific meets. He has a large series of Endoscopic DCR. He has created an international educational CD on Endoscopic DCR. At present he is working as a Professor, in the Department of ENT, Seth GS Medical college and KEM Hospital, Mumbai and has his private practice in Mumbai.
