
Prof. Dr. Milind M. Navalakhe is recognised as one of the pioneers of Sialendoscopy in India and was among the earliest surgeons to start Sialendoscopy practice in the country in 2008. Trained at the University of Erlangen, Germany, he played a major role in introducing and advancing minimally invasive salivary gland surgery in India.
Through the IMMAST training programs in Mumbai, he has trained more than 200 ENT and Maxillofacial surgeons in Sialendoscopy through hands-on workshops and certificate courses. He was also a Founding Member of the Sialendoscopy Group of India and served as its President from 2024 to 2026, contributing significantly towards academic development, surgeon training, and promotion of gland-preserving salivary surgery across India.
